Peterson Event Center
Pittsburgh, Pa

This was my first Lepp concert since June 1983.  I had just found out about it on March 3rd.  I had lousy seats, but thanks to another fan who could not go I was able to get her tickets on the floor in front of the mix.
So, I have a pair of tix and don't know anyone to go with.  I had not yet joined the online Lepp community.  So, I drag my 23 yr old daughter with me.  We get to the venue after some confusion.  We parked in the parking garage and start walking down to the venue.  I believe this was around 2 pm.  We weren't sure where to go to wait in line since we had never been here before.

We walked down the one side street past a road block horse(or whatever they are called).  My daughter had to go to the bathroom so I was waiting on this street while she ran in to the building next to the venue.  As I was standing there I realised there were buses.  Stupid me didn't realize they were the bands.  My daughter comes out and we are talking to a girl close to her age who had a rose for Joe.  I had my back turned as I was saying something to my daughter, and hear "Mr. Elliott"  The girl with the rose had spotted Joe.  I did manage to get two pics of him going in for soundcheck (as close as I ever came to meeting any of the band.....sigh).

My daughter and I hung around a little bit more and then decided to go stand in line.  Well, there was no line, so we were at the front of it talking to the security people.  Who were really nice.  People eventually started to arrive, and we started talking to a young guy and his father about how they used to live in our neck of the woods.  They were going to try and help my daughter get up front with them to get good pics, but unfortunately the security personel inside were not as nice as the ones we had meet out front. So my daughter was never able to get up there with them.

Sometime either before Ricky came on or after, police swarmed to our area because of a gentleman in the section beside us.  Never did find out what that was all about. I had never heard of Ricky before but enjoyed his music all the same.  That boy has to have some major cajones to get up their by himself.  Very impressed, I couldn't do it with 4 other people with me:)

It has been quite a while since that concert so I don't remember the songs played:)  I do remember they were awesome.  Even my daughter was impressed.  I remember Joe had on the black long sleeve shirt and leather pants:)  Most of the time I spent Jumping and Glimpsing.  Being only 5'2"  it is hard to see if you are not up front.
I bought 2 t-shirts, one with the tour schedule on the back and the other with just the words Def Leppard, both had group pic on front, a keychain which broke before the week was out and a tour book.
